THREE women have been arrested after they detained and “raped” a pastor who had come to demand money he was owed by one of them.
The man, whose name has been withheld for ethical reasons, is a pastor at a local church and is from Cowdray Park suburb in Bulawayo.

Sandra Ncube (21), Riamuhetsi Mlauzi (23) and Mongiwe Mpofu (25) who reside at the same house in Cowdray Park suburb, appeared before Western Commonage magistrate Mr Lungile Ncube charged with aggravated indecent assault.

They were remanded in custody to August 7 for continuation of trial.

Prosecuting, Mr Petros Shoko said the complainant had gone to the women’s residence to demand money from Mlauzi sometime last week.

“On July 14, 2017, at around 7PM, the complainant went to the three accused persons’ residence to collect his money from Riamuhetsi Mlauzi, which she owed him,” said the prosecutor.

The court heard that the complainant was ushered into the house before Ncube held him by the waist and fondled his private parts.

They forced him to lie on the bed and undressed him. Ncube sat on his chest and he tried to push her away. However, Mlauzi, who was in the same room, held his legs together and sat on top, pressing him against the bed,” said Mr Shoko.

Mpofu, who was in another room, brought condoms and placed one on the complainant’s manhood. She then assisted to hold the complainant down as he was resisting.

Ncube had sexual intercourse with the complainant once, without his consent,” said Mr Shoko.

During trial, the trio denied “raping” the complainant but admitted indecently assaulting him.

“We were just playing around Your Worship. I did not think that he would take it seriously,” said Ncube.

Mpofu distanced herself from the incident and said she had only been called to bring condoms.

“I was not part of it. They just called me to bring condoms. We keep condoms around the house and there were some in my room, so I just brought them,” said Mpofu.

Mlauzi said she wanted to “fix” the pastor, whom she accused of having a tendency of walking in on her when she was bathing.

Mlauzi said: “He always walks in on me bathing and claims to be unmoved as a man of God. I just wanted to see if he was going to be aroused or not. I did not plan to execute the whole rape thing, Your Worship.”

Magistrate Ncube asked Mlauzi what she aimed to benefit from the attack, and she said she just wanted to prove to the pastor that he had feelings like everybody else.

“I wanted him to see that he was not special and was not immune to sexual arousal. When I touched him, he immediately got aroused. And that is all we wanted to see,” she said.

The matter was reported at Cowdray Park Police Station and the complainant was referred to Mpilo Central Hospital for a medical examination. A medical report was produced in court as evidence.

A fourth Gwinnett County teenager has been arrested in connection with a May attack on a woman who was scalded with boiling water and shocked with stun guns before being raped in front of her young son, police said.
Angela Garcia, 18, of Duluth, was booked into the Gwinnett County Detention Center on July 5 on charges of home invasion, aggravated sodomy, aggravated battery, kidnapping, rape and cruelty to children. Garcia is charged alongside 19-year-old Josue Ramirez, 17-year-old Francisco Palencia and a 15-year-old girl, all of whom face the same charges. None have been granted bond.
The 15-year-old suspect is being charged as an adult, but the Atlanta Journal-Constitution does not generally identify juveniles charged with a crime.
Garcia served as a “lookout” while two men burned, shocked and raped a woman in her apartment, said Cpl. Deon Washington, a Gwinnett County Police Department spokesman. The woman found the men in her home in unincorporated Tucker when she was returning home from work around 3 a.m. May 12, carrying her two young sons.

After the attack, Garcia helped “remove property” from the apartment, Washington said. The woman’s jewelry box, college ID and German shepherd puppy were missing, a police report said.
All four suspects face the same charges because Georgia’s “party to a crime” law states that “every person concerned in the commission of a crime is a party thereto and may be charged with and convicted of commission of the crime.”
Palencia, Ramirez and Garcia will appear at a preliminary hearing on July 14. The 15-year-old suspect waived her right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday.

FLORENCE – Authorities said a Florence woman, jealous that a Sheffield woman was seeing her boyfriend, has been indicted for sexually assaulting and torturing the woman at gunpoint.
April Lynn Johnson, 31, 27 S. Prairie St., has been indicted on charges of sexual torture and first-degree sexual abuse.
The indictment was issued in the recently concluded session of the Lauderdale County grand jury.
Authorities said Johnson is accused of sexually assaulting a 31-year-old Sheffield woman outside Johnson’s residence in July 2016.
According to the indictment, Johnson is accused of sexually abusing the victim with a computer gaming console controller, and then making “forcible” sexual contact with the victim.
Investigators said police were notified after the victim received medical attention for her injuries.
Police Lt. Brad Holmes said at the time of the arrest that the victim provided details as to what occurred.
“Officers executed a search warrant at Johnson’s house and collected evidence. She was questioned and then arrested,” Holmes said.
Johnson is accused of luring the victim to her house after she found out they were dating the same man, according to reports.
Police said according to the victim, after she arrived at Johnson’s residence, they talked and then Johnson pulled a gun and pointed it at her.
Investigators said according to the victim, Johnson forced her inside the residence and kept her there for several hours.
Authorities said the victim reported it was while she was being held at gunpoint that Johnson sexually assaulted her and forced her to perform sexual acts.
Police said the victim pretended to be injured and in need of medical attention, and she was allow to go to the hospital with Johnson following her.
Police said after Johnson drove off, the woman called authorities.
First-degree sexual abuse is a Class C felony, punishable by 1 to 10 years in prison.
Sexual torture is a Class A felony, which carries a sentence of 10 years to life with parole, if convicted.
Johnson is scheduled to be arraigned July 17 by Lauderdale County Circuit Judge Ben Graves.
She is being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on bail totaling $26,000.

CANTON — A Massena woman charged with the rape and predatory sexual assault of children in a 53-count indictment will be headed to prison after accepting a plea deal Friday.
Mackenzie L. Bailey, 21, Massena, pleaded guilty in St. Lawrence County Court to felony first-degree criminal sexual act in a plea deal with the district attorney’s office.
As part of the deal, Bailey will be sentenced to 14 years in prison with 10 years of post-release supervision and will satisfy the indictment charging her with three counts of first-degree rape, three counts of first-degree criminal sexual act, one count of third-degree rape and one count of first-degree sexual abuse.
Bailey pleaded to the highest count in the indictment and she will also have to register as a sex offender, County Court Judge Derek P. Champagne said.
On March 6, 2016 in St. Lawrence County, Bailey, acting in concert with Stacey J. LaPorte Jr., engaged in oral sexual conduct with a 16-year-old by forcible compulsion.
Police originally charged that on Aug. 29, 2014 in St. Lawrence County, Bailey engaged in oral sexual conduct on two separate occasions and sexual intercourse on three separate occasions with a 15-year-old, all by forcible compulsion.
The charges also allege that on March 6, 2016 in St. Lawrence County, Bailey had sexual contact with a 16-year-old child and, on the same day, engaged in oral sexual conduct with a second 16-year-old child, with both instances being by forcible compulsion.
Both Bailey and LaPorte, 26, an inmate at Oneida County jail, formerly of Massena, also have been indicted on federal charges of conspiring to, and being engaged in, the sexual exploitation of minors.
On March 16, Bailey pleaded guilty to each charge in a federal indictment charging her with conspiracy to sexually exploit a minor child from infancy to age 2 and two counts of sexually exploiting that child on two specific dates in 2016. In addition, LaPorte is charged with a fourth count relating to his alleged exploitation of two children — one 13, the other 17 — on a specific date in 2016.
On the federal charges, Bailey faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison on each count. If sentenced consecutively, she faces up to 90 years in prison. She also faces a fine of up to $250,000 and a term of supervised release of at least five years and up to life, as well as registration as a sex offender.
Bailey’s federal and state sentences will be served concurrent to each other.
On June 20, LaPorte was found guilty of five counts of sexually exploiting four different children and one count of receiving child pornography.
LaPorte was convicted of conspiring with Bailey to sexually exploit a child from infancy to age 2 and with using that child to produce sexually explicit images on two specific occasions. He was also convicted of conspiring with Hillary Trimm, 26, also of Massena, to sexually exploit another child, who was less than 1 year old. Both Bailey and Trimm pled guilty to the crimes they committed with LaPorte and testified at trial.
LaPorte was also convicted of exploiting a 12-year-old boy and his 16-year-old sister by coercing them to have sexual contact with one another in order to provide explicit images of the conduct. He was further convicted of receiving child pornography from another user over the messaging program Kik Messenger.
Bailey’s sentencing date on the state charges is scheduled for Oct. 10, or any time following her federal sentencing date, which has not yet been scheduled. She was remanded without bail.

Massena woman pleads guilty to child sex abuse charge W.T. ECKERT JULY 8, 2017

A woman admitted in court  to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Lincoln County girl.
Lois Flowers Mahala, 47, pled guilty in Lincoln County Superior Court to conspiracy to commit child abuse by sex act and indecent liberties.
She was sentenced to 20 months in prison. She must serve five years probation after she is released from prison.
Mahala and her husband, Robert Lee Mahala Jr., 48, were arrested on child sexual assault charges in 2015.
Robert Mahala was convicted of indecent liberties with a minor in 2015 and was released 11 months later, court records show.

A married Catholic school teacher has been jailed for just 23 months after pleading guilty to having sexual relations with two of her female teenage students.
Randi Zurenko, 34, begged a Pennsylvania judge for leniency for the sake of her own young children when being sentenced on Thursday.
The mother-of-five was jailed for up to 23 months with four years probation and must register as a sex offender for 25 years.
She had been charged with more than 200 child sex offences during her time as a teacher at Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg.
Police said Zurenko sexually abused her two victims, aged 16 and 17, hundreds of times between 2013 and 2016.
She pleaded guilty to multiple charges of institutional sexual assault, unlawful contact with minors, corruption of minors, possessing child pornography and disseminating obscene materials to minors.
Her lawyer, Lee Cohen, had asked for Judge Richard A. Lewis on Thursday to sentence Zurenko to house arrest for her young children and claimed she was 'truly in love with her victims,' Penn Live reports.
'I am ashamed to be here,' Zurenko told the judge. 'I have never coerced anyone. I have never taken advantage of anyone.
'I'm asking you today for grace and mercy and to take my children into consideration when you determine my sentence.'
The judge said he considered Zurenko's own children, but also noted the pain the two victims had endured.
He described Zurenko as having a 'Jekyll and Hyde' personality.
One victim told the court Zurenko had manipulated her psychologically for years. Police said Zurenko once massaged the girl and undid her bra. She also repeatedly gave her alcohol.
'You stunted my growth because I depended on you,' the girl said in court.
'I felt so confused and abandoned and trapped. I trusted nobody... You took everything that was mine.
'I'm still feeling the impact. I don't think it's close to over. You took my innocence. You used my love.'
Following her arrest, Dauphin County's District Attorney's Office said Zurenko abused one of the girls from January of 2013 to October of 2016. The girl, who has since graduated from the school, was underage at all times.
Zurenko went on to abuse the second girl from 2015 to 2016, taking photographs of her half-nude and of them together while they had sex
She sent her nude 'selfies' and also admitted to taking photographs of the student on her phone.
They are alleged to have sex in a number of different locations including Zurenko's home. Their last encounter was just four days before her arrest.
'During the course of the interview Zurenko admitted to providing both victim 1 and victim 2 alcohol while they were students at Bishop McDevitt.
'She also admitted that, while employed as a teacher at Bishop McDevitt High School, she had a sexual relationship with victim 2, a current student at the school.
'Zurenko also admitted to taking nude photographs of victim 2,' a statement released by the District Attorney's Office said.
The school immediately suspended the teacher.

Joelle Barozzini appeared in court for a preliminary hearing accompanied by her family.
Police say Barozzini sexually assaulted a teenage boy at her home and at a hotel where they stayed when they visited his father in state prison.
Officials say the abuse happened when the boy was 16-years-old and continued from 2009 until 2013.
During the preliminary hearing, the victim took the stand for two hours and claimed under oath that he and Barozzini had sex “hundreds of times.”
The victim, now 24-years-old, looked visibly nervous while testifying, and said that he didn’t tell anyone about the abuse saying, “I was worried I’d get thrown away again.”
The victim went on to say that Barozzini portrayed herself as his girlfriend in public, claiming that she had a disease that caused premature aging.
Barozzini also warned him not to tell anyone about their relationship because no one would believe him.
The assaults happened as Barozzini worked inside the Pressley Ridge juvenile facility in Uniontown.
The victim told police that first incident happened inside the Barrozini’s home.
