2 young girls raped, murdered

Two young girls in their 20’s were raped and murdered and later their bodies were thrown in a forest area of Banda on Monday morning.

Some resident of Chureha Kehsruwa Pata locality in Kotwali police station area noticed their bodies lying in thickets at Suhargarh area and informed the local police. Later the local police alog with senior police officers rushed to the scene.

After preliminary investigation, an officer said that circumstantial evidences suggested that the victims, one about 20-year-old and the other about 25 years, were kidnapped and raped somewhere else after which they were killed and their bodies were dumped in the jungles to conceal their identity on Sunday night.

The cops suspected that the perpetrators were probably known to the victims and they killed and dumped their bodies in the fear of being identified. The cops also recovered a knife which they suspect was used in the crime.

A case was registered in thsi connection and the bodies were sent for autopsy. The Banda police flashed wireless messages to neighbouring districts to ascertain the identity of the victims but their efforts failed to yield desired results. Investigations were on and efforts were being made to identify the victims.

Meanwhile in Mainpuri, a six-year-old girl was lured and later raped by her neighbour on Sunday evening.

The sensational incident came to light when the injured victim somehow returned home after which her family members learnt of the grotsque crime.

After registeringa case, the police launched a manhunt to arrest the accused.

As per reports, the girl hailing from Kishni locality was playing with her friends on Monday evening when her neighbour Ram Raheem lured her promising to give her sweets.

The pervert took her to a a secluded place and raped her.

When the girl started crying, the accused fled the spot.

After somehow reaching home, she narrated her ordeal after which her family members admitted her to a hospital. Efforts were on to nab the absconding Ram Raheem.
